James White, BSc (Hons), ACII - Technical Advisor
James joined IBS Group in May 2000 as a Technical Advisor to the Marine & Aviation Team, where he was responsible for client, product and systems development. James' role has subsequently expanded to include heavy equipment and motor fleet business services for all our operating companies.
As of October 2004, James has been based in Singapore as a Director of IBS Group - Reinsurance Service (Singapore) Pte Ltd, where he has developed the IBS Reinsurance Broking office. His role includes maintaining existing clients and the development of new regional client relationships and business opportunities throughout the region.
Prior to joining IBS Group, James was a marine cargo and reinsurance underwriter for a major insurer in the London insurance market with business development responsibilities in both the UK and South East Asia. James holds a degree from City University (London) in Insurance and Investment Management and is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of London. |

Petrus Emmil Hartono, ANZIIF (Snr. Assoc), CIP - Business Manager
Emmil is professionally accredited as a Senior Associate from the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance and holds a Bachelor degree in Business Accounting. He joined IBS Group in 2001 where he assisted our Sales Director in new business development initiatives. He was later assigned to IBS Group's Manufacturing Team, where he handled both manufacturing and banking broking and claims.
Emmil's expertise in his current position as a Business Manager is to tailor programmes to the specialized needs of clients such as manufacturers and mining contractors in the area of heavy equipment and motor fleet. His responsibilities range from client relationship management to the supervision of the Equipment & Motor Division operation, providing specialist knowledge and client service in both broking and claim for heavy equipment and motor business. |
