Jeff Tan, Aff. All -
Technical Advisor Claims Management
Jeff joined IBS Group as a Technical Advisor in our Claims Management Team on January 2004. Professionally accredited as an Affiliate of the Australian Insurance Institute, Jeff has over 30 years insurance industry experience and has spent the last 12 years in Indonesia and 18 years in Malaysia. He has previously held several key managerial roles in some of the largest joint-venture insurance and brokers companies.
Jeff has extensive knowledge in insurance business operations & technical management, including technical underwriting and claims management. He is qualified professionally and possesses broad experience in the management of large and complex losses with over 20 staff fully engaged in this vital area of our business. |

George Gibb, BSc. (Hons), MECH.ENG - Technical Advisor Risk Management
George is a Senior Risk Engineer of IBS Group Risk Management Services and oversees our risk control programmes for major risks. George started his career as a Commissioning Engineering Surveyor in 1982, where he was providing risk mitigation and loss control services for GEC Turbine Generators Ltd in the UK.
In 1990, he joined the insurance industry as an Engineering Surveyor and has operated as Chief Engineer carrying out risk management survey inspections worldwide ever since. George has in-depth technical knowledge in the energy field, having spent 2 years in Saudi Arabia as a Regional Engineering Manager before he joined IBS Group in August 2002.
George provides risk identification, analysis and quantification services for our clients and works very closely with our risk services brokers in communicating the true risk profile of our clients' operations to the insurance market.
George has been named Risk Management of the Year 2004 in the prestigious 2004 Asia Insurance Industry Awards. The award received by George Gibb has made IBS Group the first insurance broking or insurance company in Indonesia to receive an internationally recognized award. |

Retno Hendrayani, ANZIIF - Senior Business Manager
Currently Claims Manager, Retno has more than 7 years of experience in claims management. Professionally accredited as the Senior Associate of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance, Retno also received professional certification in Business Interruption Claims Training and Management & Claim Adjustment from Chubb Asia Pacific Zone and McLarens International Loss Adjusters respectively.
Retno has the background and experience in handling claims of general insurance products which varies from Fire, Motor Vehicle, Burglary, Money, Engineering, Fidelity Guarantee, Business Interruption, Loss of Rent, Liability, etc. |

Ir. Budi Hardja, APAI, CIIB
- Business Manager
Graduated as a Mechanical Engineering degree but decided to move into the insurance industry when he discovered his passion for insurance five years ago. Professionally accredited from The Association of Indonesia Insurance Brokers with APAI and CIIB, Budi has expert knowledge in claims management. As a Claims Manager, Budi works closely with IBS claim technical advisor where he handles claims of various risk areas including property, business interruption, machinery breakdown, liability, money insurance and etc. In his work, Budi understands and is dedicated to achieving customer satisfaction by working with insurers and/ or adjusters to obtain the best settlement for his clients. |

IGP Bagus Darma Susila, ST, Dip CII, ANZIIF (Snr. Assoc), CIP
- Business Manager
Graduated as a Mechanical Engineer from Gadjah Mada University, Darma has 4 years of experience as a Loss Adjuster at one of the leading global Loss Adjusting firm. Previously in his job, Darma handled losses particularly in engineering involving various type of machineries rotating equipment and energy related losses, property, fire, liability, fidelity, construction and erection, mining, logging industries, and other heavy equipment industries. Professionally accredited from Chartered Insurance Institute, United Kingdom, Darma holds the position of Claims Manager where he currently manages corporate claims for major clients of IBS Group. |

Alvin A. Siregar, SE, MM, AAAIK, ANZIIF (Assoc) - Business Manager
Alvin holds Bachelor of Economics and Master's degree in Financial Management from University of Indonesia. He is also professionally qualified as Ajun Ahli Asuransi Indonesia Kerugian from AAMAI and Associate of the Australia & New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance. Alvin started his career as a Claims Officer in the year 2000, and soon after his career was developed quickly. His last position was as Manager of Claims and Risk Engineering Division in one of the biggest joint-venture general insurance company. Alvin enriches his knowledge of insurance by attending several trainings on aviation, hull construction and risk assessment. He also had learnt about hull insurance and P&I liabilities at Singapore College of Insurance.
Alvin joined IBS Group in 2006 as Claims Manager. With over 6 years handling marine and corporate claims, he now will manage and organize Claims Department of Marine and Heavy Equipment and Motor Group. |
