George Gibb, BSc. (Hons), MECH.ENG -
Technical Advisor Risk Management
George is a Senior Risk Engineer of IBS Group - Risk Management Services and oversees our risk control programmes for major risks. George started his career as a Commissioning Engineering Surveyor in 1982, where he was providing risk mitigation and loss control services for GEC Turbine Generators Ltd in the UK.
In 1990, he joined the insurance industry as an Engineering Surveyor and has operated as Chief Engineer carrying out risk management survey inspections worldwide ever since. George has in-depth technical knowledge in the energy field, having spent 2 years in Saudi Arabia as a Regional Engineering Manager before he joined IBS Group in August 2002.
George provides risk identification, analysis and quantification services for our clients and works very closely with our risk services brokers in communicating the true risk profile of our clients' operations to the insurance market.
George has been named Risk Management of the Year 2004 in the prestigious 2004 Asia Insurance Industry Awards. The award received by George Gibb has made IBS Group the first insurance broking or insurance company in Indonesia to receive an internationally recognized award. |

Zulfikar Irianto - Business Manager
Zulfikar graduated with a Bachelor in Civil Engineering from Bandung Institute of Technology, Indonesia. He has over 8 years hands-on experience in the insurance industry and risk management. Prior to joining IBS Group, Zulfikar worked as a surveyor in one of the largest Japanese Insurance Companies where he conducted Risk Surveys and provided risk evaluations and loss control recommendations.
Currently, as a Risk Engineer, Zulfikar provides insurance risk management to help clients accurately determine the risk exposures, and advice on improvements to identify work-related exposures and controls to help provide a better profile of the client to Insurers. His responsibilities include conducting risk surveys in a variety of commercial and industrial properties in Indonesia, identification of general and specified potential hazards in manufacturing processes and assets, as well as production of risk inspection reports and loss control recommendations on improvement to hazard prevention and fire protection systems. |
